英语规则动词的过去式后缀 -ed 的发音取决于 词干（动词原形）末尾音素的清浊属性：
- /t/ 或 /d/：如果词干以 /t/ 或 /d/ 结尾，-ed 发 /ɪd/（如 wanted /ˈwɒntɪd/, needed /ˈniːdɪd/）。
- 清辅音：如果词干以 清辅音（如 /p/, /k/, /f/, /s/, /ʃ/, /tʃ/ 等）结尾，-ed 发 /t/（如 stopped /stɒpt/, laughed /lɑːft/）。
